 1.1:-Multiplication and Division of Integers

1) Rules for multiplication of integers:-

2)Rules for division of inegers:-

1.2:-Combined Operations of Integers
Not stated

1.3:-Positive and Negative Fractions
1)Fractions can be marked on a number line.
2)A positive fraction is a fraction with or without a positive sign (+) and has a value greater than zero.
3)A negative fraction is a fraction with a negative sign (-) that has a value less than zero.
4:-a)On a horizontal number line, positive fractions are those to the right of zero, whereas negative fractions those to the left of zero.
b)Any fraction to the right is greater than the fractions to its left and vice versa.

5:-a)On a vertical number line, positive fractions are those above zero, whereas negative fractions are those below zero.
b)Any fraction above is greater than the fraction below it and vice versa.

1.4:-Positive and Negative Decimals
1)Decimals can be marked on a number line.
2)A positive decimal number is to right of zero whereas a negative decimal number is to left of zero.
     -1.5 < -1.0                                               1.5 > 1.0

1.5:-Computations involving Directed Numbers ( Integers, Fractions, and Decimals )
1)When performing computations of directed numbers involving a combination of +,-,x,/ and brackets, follow these rules:-
a)Do operations within brackets first
b)Perfoorm multiplication and division from the left to the right
c)Lastly, do addition and subtraction from the left to the right
